Longing for warmth

Something still seems to be missing—

A need to do a bit more for my Lord.

A longing to know Him more deeply.

I want to go deeper into my faith,

To talk to Jesus like the saints did,

To serve Him as they did.

It’s a dream I carry in my heart—

To feel the warmth of God's love,

To hear the sweet voice of Jesus,

To rest in Him and whisper all my worries to Him.

That’s what I long for.

But how do I do it?

I’m trying to learn.
